How would this person do in the NFL?
I was scouting some NFL players at Kenya, and I met this special person named James Makena. He is 17yrs of age, and I met him because I was going to adopt someone from the orphanage there.

ames is a super athlete at his age (40inch vertical, 6'4, 224lbs).
He is definitely a Running Back and his NFL comparison is Adrian Peterson. James' time in the 40 yard dash was 8.48 seconds and he lifts 212lbs, which is almost similar to his weight.
Pros: Athleticism, Perfect combo of speed/strength, Work ethic is the best I've seen, Always wants to get better.
Cons: Fumbles! He, like Adrian Person is known for, always fumbles the ball, Pushover.
I'm going to adopt him, and help him with his dream of going to the NFL.

Yeah if this is true he is a freak athlete, but there's one little blemish on that "resume" I noticed though.... 8.48 40 yard dash??? Do you understand how slow that is? EVERY single player in football can run faster than that, including lineman. I can run an 8.48, honestly. In fact I'm a short and a little overweight but can run a 40 in 5.9.
I'm guessing you made a mistake though, so assuming his 40 is between 4.3 and 4.55 then lets continue. He has the physical attributes to play in the NFL, but does he have the skill? You think playing football in Kenya reflects any true potential? I'm positive there aren't organizations with american football rules in Kenya with all proper equipment. Basically you really don't know, from what you've said he definatley could be an nfl runningback, but first focus on him getting into a good high school, then division 1 college. He will need to be decently smart too. I'm pretty sure your just full of shit though because this sounds very unrealistic.
