Since the Gulf Coast is about to become a toxic waste dump in a few days, why are we constantly offered?
plastic bags and everything we touch is made of plastic which requires oil?
As a good Liberal, I bring my own cloth bag to the grocery and the Walmart, but I'm just one person (well sort of. I'm Jules Winnfield too of course)
But when you go into a grocery or Walmart ( since all the mom and pops went belly up and pop) we have plastic bag shoved at us, no more choice of "paper or plastic".
Henry Ford had a Model T body built of hemp fiber way back in the 1930's. We don't have to drill for hemp and it works as well or better than plastic. I bought a pair a package of reading glasses at Wally World the other day and had to use a chainsaw to open the plastic container which contained the plastic glasses with plastic frames.
I realize that more money is made from making things of plastic than from other materials.
Waiting for an oil spill that will cost you your job and destroy the economy of the entire Gulf Coast sort of makes you think of these things.
I wish you would go to the Amazon jungle and stay there. There's no oil-based products there - you'll be happy.
