Motor Upgrade Accessory
Tokyo Marui M16A2 help?
Hey, I'm soon going to buy my first Airsoft gun by Tokyo Marui: an M16A2. However, I'm not sure what to get along with it! I really do not want to (scratch that, WILL NOT) get any internal upgrades for it having to do with the gearbox or motor or anything like that; I want a stock AEG, and that's it. I'd like some help, though, on figuring out what other accessories to get along with it. A big question I have is will an 8.4V 1800mAh battery fit with it? I'd like to order off of PyramydAir.com because of the free shipping, and also because I've had good experience with them before. Basically, I'd like an answer to the battery question, and also what other accessories you guys would recommend for my first purchase. I'd like to keep the order around 350$ including shipping. first of all , big pat on the bat for buying a decent gun for your first. too many people buy crap and then bitch.
anyway as long as they havce the same kind of connector the battery *should* fit it. most high end guns have teh front connector for it's stock battery size then one in the back once you remove the stock so you can cut the 'pillars' out of a solid stock to hold any size battery.
as for other gear don't worry too too much about like vests and stuff. that comes later. right now as far as gun accessories i'd say depending on what you want to do buy clips. if you're going for a milsim type of experience with milsim groups around you i'd suggest buying a few boxes (yes i said boxes) of STAR low cap magazines. they're like 10 for 30 bucks on shorty usa. if you're just playing with buddies buy one or two highcaps. they run 30-60 dollars and you can find em on any decent airsoft site.
