Mini Palm Size
Is this healthy?
I'm trying to lose 18 pounds by next May and I wanted to see if you thought my meals throughout the day were healthy.
Breakfast: a cup of cereal (special k, cheerios, or frosted mini wheats)
Snack: peach, carrot (with maybe a little ranch on the side for dipping, like a tablespoon), or grapes
Lunch: 3 broken up lettuce leaves (big ones) and a tablespoon and a half of ranch

Dinner:
Meat... usually a chicken leg, a third of a steak, or a palm sized peice of fish
Veggies... potatoes, asparagus, spinach, or a salad (as I described my lunch)
Drink... 2% milk, or water
And I exercise on my treadmill 4x a week; level 2 or 3 for 5-10 minutes, level 4 or 5 for 7-8 minutes, and level 6 or 7 for 2-3 minutes (and I repeat this pattern for 40 minutes with a 2 minute break after 20 minutes)

sounds great to me. you will be well on your way. I would look into a multi-vitamin to get other nutrients. Look into simple kinds like centrum
Once you get into it i recommend doing a little weight training (maybe start out with twice a week) to help keep a toned body.
Also I recommend drinking water whenever possible (instead of juices and other drinks). I have recently been drinking 64 ounces of water a day. Its very good for you. Try to make the milk you drink skim. green tea can also be very good as an alternative
