Control Mosquito Helicopter
Micro mosquito helicopter out of control!!!!!!!HELP?
I just bought a micro mosquito helicopter from radio shack yesterday. It is really fun, but whenever I fly it, it spins like crazy. I have checked the trim and everything, and all the parts are fine. When I start it up, it still spins, but all of a sudden it goes up and down, left to right, and eventually the blades hit each other. I have seen videos of it flying on youtube, and seems to be perfect. Can someone please help me?????????????!!!!!!!!!!!! I am looking for good answers.
First thing to do: hold it by the rotor shaft to double check that it's balanced.
Then, turn it on without turning the radio on. You may be getting radio interference from an outside source.
Make sure that there aren't ANY cracks in ANY parts ANYwhere. A single bent part could be causing the trouble.
If you still haven't discovered the cause of the trouble, hold the body of the helicopter and give it some throttle. Don't let go. Observe whether it wants to torque one way or another. Observe whether it seems erratic (with power and directional surges). If it seems normal, you can launch it.
